Easter Eggs

We sure enjoy coloring Easter eggs!  It is almost more fun for Andre and I than it is for the boys! :)

This year, Andre found some dye and plastic thingys at the Russian supermarket--they worked great and were so much cheaper than the German stuff.  I think we did about 25 eggs!

The plastic thingys were very pretty...just put them around the egg and dip the egg in boiling water.  Done.

Granna and the Boys

It was great to have Granna here!  Do you think I took a lot of pictures while she was here?  I tried, but I could have done better!  It sure was fun watching her interact with Elliot and Nolan.  I know she was ready for peace and quiet when she left!  Ha!  Granna got to take Elliot to kindergarten quite often and she even got to come to the Easter party that the kindergarten had!  Unfortunately, we can't take pictures at kindergarten, but oh well.  We will just have to remember. :)

I try to get out every day and go for some sort of walk--whether it is to the grocery store or going to the park--just out.  Trying to gain my strength--the stairs up to our apartment certainly help with that!

We had some beautiful days and we took the boys to a playground.  I walked around and then sat on the bench.  Mom took the picture before we left--I get to wear hats now. :)  The sun could set off a flare-up of my lupus.

My Joys

 

There two boys have truly been my joys since I have come home from the hospital.  I am so thankful to our heavenly Father for these boys who put a smile on my face and make me laugh.  It is the best medicine.  Granna has helped so much and we are so thankful!  She hopped off the plane, got to our house and had supper on the table two hours later.  Superwoman.  Just superwoman.

End of February

We had some nice sunny days, but still cold!  Both boys were climbing the trees.

Nolan has really started giving cheesy smiles!  Just warms my heart.

 

 

He is learning to blow bubbles!  Maybe we can get him to blow out his candles on his birthday!
