Elliot Singing

God is our Friend--I guess that's the title of his song.  He made it up.  He does this once and awhile, but this is the first time I could get it on video.

The boys really love yogurt--Papi got them some special heart yogurt around Valentine's Day and they loved it...

Nolan is talking, but not full sentences. It is so fun to listen to him though--there is so much thought behind what he says--you can tell his little brain is working! Elliot was really sick a few weeks ago and didn't say much all day.  Nolan on the other hand didn't stop talking!  Well, maybe it was just what I thought--since Elliot is usually also talking a mile a minute, Nolan's words kind of get lost.  It was just really interesting for me to hear only Nolan--he had so much to say even though there were no sentences.  He looked and me and said church? No, we don't have church today. Ja, church. No, it's Saturday. Nee, Saturday, church.  :)

Superman

Elliot told me back in October that he wanted to be Superman for Fasching.  He had a red cape and his superman t-shirt, but he NEEDED a superman mask.

 

I decided to make one out of felt--it was easier than I thought.  I  made Nolan one too, but I didn't get a picture of him wearing it.  He had it on five minutes as we walked to the tram stop and as I pulled out my camera, he took it off....

 

 

 

Toe Jams and Building

Two Year Project

 

I started this project about two years ago--it was spring time and I wanted to do something.  Spring time came and went and I was not done, so I put it away.  The next spring, I did not get anything done, I was sick. This January, I promised Andre I would get it done since it was taking up space in the attic.  I am really happy with it!  I think it is hanging in the church building now and when spring is done, I think I will hang it back up in the boys' room. They seemed to like it!

 

 

Just Growing

 

Boy, the boys are growing!  Nolan is really talking a lot at home.  I found out though that he isn't talking at all at Kindergarten!  He is always in a good mood, but doesn't talk!  Ha!
