Trip to Berlin

Unfortunately, on January 18, our car was broken into and my backpack was stolen--with all my stuff.  Except the apartment keys.  Just everything--passport, driver's license, insurance cards, bank card, social security card, etc...just everything.  I was not a happy camper.

Well, since my passport was stolen, I had to go personally to Berlin to apply for a new one.  We decided to use the trip and get paperwork done for the boys as well.  I am really happy that everything worked out.  Now both boys are on the same schedule for passports--we can make one trip for both boys from now on.

All my paperwork.
We got a hotel the night before and it was right across from a great playground.  The boys had so much fun!

End of Jan

I'll try to start catching up!!  At the end of Jan we had a lot of snow!  The boys enjoyed the mountain of snow not far from our house.
Our mountain of snow.

Beauty

Papi got home from rehab and the boys were so happy!!!  And I was too.  Nolan just couldn't sit still for a picture.

Visiting Papi

We got to visit Papi at rehab--it was about a 45 minute drive one way.  We were only able to do it about once a week.  Thankfully, he was only there 3 weeks!  The boys enjoyed playing hide and seek in Papi's room! :)

Snow and Trains

I need to catch up on pictures.  These were taken shortly after New Year's!
We got lots of snow and I got the sled out while a friend was here and we took the boys sledding.  Not down the hill, but just through the park!

I built two different train tracks--one for Nolan and one for Elliot.

New Year's Eve

We didn't have anything planned this year for New Year's Eve.  I had originally thought of visiting Andre at rehab and doing something with the boys there, but since he was still in the hospital, I had to scratch that idea.  I just took the boys to the park--it was super cold.  I had bought some glow in the dark things and some sparklers.  That was our celebration!  We put Nolan to bed at the normal time and then Elliot and I watched a few fireworks here and there between 6 and 8 pm! Both boys slept through the midnight fireworks.  Yeah!
