Superman

Elliot told me back in October that he wanted to be Superman for Fasching.  He had a red cape and his superman t-shirt, but he NEEDED a superman mask.

 

I decided to make one out of felt--it was easier than I thought.  I  made Nolan one too, but I didn't get a picture of him wearing it.  He had it on five minutes as we walked to the tram stop and as I pulled out my camera, he took it off....

 

 

 

Toe Jams and Building

Two Year Project

 

I started this project about two years ago--it was spring time and I wanted to do something.  Spring time came and went and I was not done, so I put it away.  The next spring, I did not get anything done, I was sick. This January, I promised Andre I would get it done since it was taking up space in the attic.  I am really happy with it!  I think it is hanging in the church building now and when spring is done, I think I will hang it back up in the boys' room. They seemed to like it!

 

 

Just Growing

 

Boy, the boys are growing!  Nolan is really talking a lot at home.  I found out though that he isn't talking at all at Kindergarten!  He is always in a good mood, but doesn't talk!  Ha!

Queen Esther

We are studying Queen Esther in the children's Bible class.   We talked about how Esther was breathtakingly beautiful, BUT that her heart was even more beautiful.  She was friendly, nice and respectful.  God looks at the heart!

 

This is Elliot's and Nolan's Queen.  Elliot was so proud of her teeth that he drew.  :) 

 

 

Elliot's New Bed

We decided that it was time to get a new bed for Elliot.  We also thought a high bed would be practical since we don't have tons of space.  I looked on ebay in our area and found a high bed for 50 Euro.  And he delivered it for 10!  Yeah!

 

Both boys were happy with the change!  Nolan desperately needed a bigger bed, so he was excited to sleep in Elliot's old bed!
