Strawberries

We love strawberries in this family and we were able to go strawberry picking two times.  The boys sure enjoyed it!!  Nolan would pick a strawberry and let Elliot inspect it every time to see if it was a good one or not. So cute! It just warmed my heart!

 

 

 

Counting with Nolan

Well, Nolan is counting. Sort of.  He cracks me up when I hear him counting.  Guess I need to work more with him! Enjoy!

 

Hiking Day with our Kindergarten

We had a hiking afternoon with our kindergarten--I took the boys and they did great.  I had the boys take their wheels since I knew we had to also get home.  Most of the parents had a car and could then drive home. Since Andre was at work, I decided that letting the boys have their wheels instead of walking the whole way might be a good idea!  The hike was about 30 minutes and then the kids got to play for about an hour.  It was a fun afternoon.

It was pretty hot, but I had enough water with me!

Scooters

Elliot got a scooter last year for his birthday and really enjoys riding it!  Nolan wanted to ride one so bad, but we haven't gotten him one yet.  We went to Oma's and guess what????  She had a really old one in the shed.  We brought it home and Nolan took it to Kindergarten a few days, then I talked him into taking his balance bike.  I need to get a video of that!

Craft Project

Elliot and Nolan had a recycling week at kindergarten--they did lots of neat things with the children on recycling.  Elliot really wanted to make this beer cap flower.  He collected all the beer caps in the park on the way home from kindergarten.  Pretty sad that so much beer is being drunk, but we turned it into something pretty.

 

And here are the tin cans that we painted!  I hope they don't rust too bad!  We'll see!

 

 

Butterflies and First Ice Cream of the Season

 It's time again!  We have season passes for the butterfly exhibit in the botanical garden here in Chemnitz. :) They had a spring flower exhibit as well, so there are a few pictures of that too.
