I got to attend the European Vision Workshop put on by Sunset International Bible Institute in Bratislava in October. It was such an encouraging time with great fellowship, faith-challenging talks and special time with Mom. The singing was so good. A little piece of heaven.
I am married to a wonderful Christian man, Andre. I enjoy staying at home with our sons, Elliot and Nolan. Life here in Germany is great when I have my three boys at my side!

Mom came to visit!
It was great to have Mom here! Nolan and I got to pick her up from the airport. We were supposed to meet her at Subway. We went to Subway (which had gone out of business), no Mom. I looked for her flight on the big sign, no flight. Hmmmm....I decided to walk back to Subway just in case. There she was! We had somehow passed each other.
Since Elliot was in school, we didn't do anything spectacular. Just everyday things. Church, potluck, visit the mother-in-law, etc. Unfortunately Mom got sick about 3-4 days before she was supposed to go home--a bad cold. Sorry, Mom!
One of our highlights was Bratislava! A once and a lifetime trip! Stay tuned for the next post!

Schulanfang
We had a wonderful Schulanfang for Elliot! It was just the four of us for the morning ceremony at the school officially welcoming Elliot to school. We had a coffee and cake time for family and friends at the church building in the afternoon. It was a lot of work but I think everyone enjoyed themselves.
His eyes just couldn't keep still! |
One of my favorite pictures of the day! Elliot with his Zuckertüte! |
Opening his Zuckertüte--I made sure it had no candy in it! |

Museum in Chemnitz
About a year ago, we went to the Naturkunde Museum in Chemnitz with Granna. Elliot loved it because of the stuffed lion they have there. Since then, he has wanted to go back. I took the boys and we had a really nice afternoon!
A stuffed grizzly--Nolan was too scared to stand by it. |
The lion used to live in the Tierpark Chemnitz. |
Nice Microscopes with different rocks and fossils. |
Waiting for the volcano simulation to start |
