We had a good April! Nolan did a lot of Duplo Lego activities for his school time. Elliot kept on with his school work well. We went outside every afternoon for at least 90 minutes. Usually to our park around the corner. We did get on the bus and tram to do some running around the town. We went to the library. I think I disinfected their hands at least 10 times.
I am married to a wonderful Christian man, Andre. I enjoy staying at home with our sons, Elliot and Nolan. Life here in Germany is great when I have my three boys at my side!

April Part 2/Easter
Well, here's to trying to catch up! Ha! Waaaaay back in April, we enjoyed the beautiful weather! The park near our house was THE place to go. In fact, people would come there looking for us because they wanted to say hi. We enjoyed coloring eggs and hunting for them too! We made several trips to the forest in our area--definitely no problem with social distancing there.

End of March/Beginning of April
We have enjoyed drawing on the sidewalks in the park! It snowed and we decided to play in the little bit of snow--the most we had all winter--in the morning and do school in the afternoon.
One of the craft projects we did. I really liked it. Using water soluble markers and permanent markets.

March Part 3
The boys are starting to get crazy. They have time to play! They have been dragging their comfortors around making nice little nests everywhere they go. They have also discovered they can run around in their underwear. I try to keep them clothed, but I'm not doing a good job of that! Ha!

| Working on his ABCs. |
I have been working on this jeans quilt for about three years now. Three years. I finally got it all sewn together and clipped the edges. I took it to the laundromat, washed and dried it. I think it turned out pretty good. It's very heavy and sturdy. I would enjoy making another one but with bigger squares! The little squares were quite tedious!
We have found a forest not too far from us. We have been going there about three years now. This was one of our first times this year and they had cut down some trees. We got a beautiful view of the Augustusburg--a fortress in our area. Really pretty!

March Part 2
And the start of home schooling because of Corona. I must admit I was overwhelmed for a while but we got into a routine after about four weeks. Ha! It took me that long. Elliot's teacher sent home school work and we had plenty to do for him. I wanted Nolan to also do "school". I figured it was a good time to work with him more. Letters and numbers for Nolan. He had shown interest in both, but we had never really practiced them. Well, now we had time! We were on lockdown so that meant you were only allowed to leave the house to go to work, grocery shopping and sports but only by yourself. Well, since I was a mom with two little boys, we were doing sports! And every afternoon, I took the boys in the park. The park had never been so full of people doing sports. Police starting making their rounds and telling people to not congregate and meet. I was not supposed to sit on a blanket--I should have been doing sports. Well, I can't throw the frisbee and play soccer the entire time. The policemen were really nice and I had the feeling they were embarrassed to even have to talk to us. We were not loud, no drinking, etc. We got into a routine--school and housework in the morning and sports in the afternoon.
I did a bubble snake with the boys. Pinterest has always been my lifeline--even more so now. Lots of great ideas and worksheets for Nolan.
