CER 2019

We are so thankful that we were able to go to the Central European Retreat this year in the Czech Repbulic! We had a wonderful time seeing old friends, getting to know new friends and enjoying nature. The boys loved paddling the boats with Papi, playing in the sandboxes and running around. It was great to see Elliot being independent with some other boys his age. I didn't teach any of the children's classes--there was a group of students from Harding that did a fantastic job! The boys are still singing the songs they learned for the talent show. I would love to post the videos, but there are other children in the videos....

It was a great weekend!

CER 2018

We were able to go to the Central European Retreat again this year. What a wonderful experience! I guess I really only have pictures of the boys on the water! Oops.

This is a video on the way home that I took. Nolan was telling me stories out of his Bible! It just warmed my heart. He also went to bed at CER and opened his Bible and started telling me the stories right before bed! It was a wonderful experience.

Central European Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed the Central European Retreat. It is 4 hours from here into Czech Republic. There were Christians from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Poland and Austria. The retreat location is very family friendly--which is very helpful for us. It is just a people friendly location. :) All ages feel comfortable there.

Both Andre and I were able to relax and that was very nice. Relaxing not in the sense of kicking our feet up, but in the sense of not thinking about work, cleaning or cooking. We enjoyed the lessons and conversations with the other Christians.
