Five Years Old!

Elliot is FIVE!!!  It is so hard to believe!  We started the day off with presents before Elliot went to Kindergarten.

 

So excited!  At 7 in the morning!

In Kindergarten, they gave him a crown and I had made fruit kebobs for the children to eat during their snack time.  THEN came the birthday party!  He had invited his good friends from Kindergarten--five bundles of energy came to the park plus Elliot and Nolan.  One of the moms stayed the whole time--boy, I was so thankful!  We had fun doing a nature treasure hunt--our treasures were snail houses, chestnuts, pinecones, etc.  Then we made ping pong ball shooters--such fun!

Playground!

We took a Saturday morning and took the boys to a playground.  It was a much needed fun morning!  We were there before 9 o'clock and guess what?  We were the only ones!!!  Ha!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nolan likes to get in on the hide and seek games--he likes to count too!  Eins, eins, eins, eins, eins, eins.....Really cute!

 

Rain Gear!

 

We have been using our rain gear a lot lately!!

Even if it has stopped raining, the boys have on their rain gear--they love puddles!!!

 

 

 

 

Elliot is gone....I get to play with his stuff!!!!

 

Nolan is such fun now--learning more words and talking more.  He sure is a fruit cake!!

 

 

 

 

Hospital Helicopter

 

When we went to the hospital to visit my father-in-law, we knew the boys could not visit him due to his infectious condition--the doctors did not know what he had.  Actually they still don't but the blood work is looking better.  Anyways, there is a helicopter pad right next to the hospital.  We were hoping that boys could see it.  Sure enough, we got to see it land!  The boys were super excited about that!

 

 

 

 

 

Digging Again

 We went to the mall where the sand and diggers were....again!  This time it was with Papi. :)

 

 

Glad I have two laundry baskets...

 

Dump....until Mommy took everything away.

 

The Mushroom Hunt

We found a nice forest not too far from us.  We love going and tramping around.  We don't really eat mushrooms, but it is fun to find them.  We do bring them home and I try to do something with them!

 

 

Both had to have sticks.

Nolan is trying to love on Elliot for the picture, but Elliot wasn't in such a good mood.  Ha!

Playing and Digging

The play-doh has been out quite a bit lately as well as the cement truck!  Elliot was proud of all the worms he made.

A local mall in our area made a children's paradise!  They dumped sand, put some diggers, dump trucks and shovels for the children to play with!  I took the boys and they really enjoyed digging.
