Getting Outside

I try to get out every day and go for some sort of walk--whether it is to the grocery store or going to the park--just out.  Trying to gain my strength--the stairs up to our apartment certainly help with that!

We had some beautiful days and we took the boys to a playground.  I walked around and then sat on the bench.  Mom took the picture before we left--I get to wear hats now. :)  The sun could set off a flare-up of my lupus.

My Joys

 

There two boys have truly been my joys since I have come home from the hospital.  I am so thankful to our heavenly Father for these boys who put a smile on my face and make me laugh.  It is the best medicine.  Granna has helped so much and we are so thankful!  She hopped off the plane, got to our house and had supper on the table two hours later.  Superwoman.  Just superwoman.

End of February

We had some nice sunny days, but still cold!  Both boys were climbing the trees.

Nolan has really started giving cheesy smiles!  Just warms my heart.

 

 

He is learning to blow bubbles!  Maybe we can get him to blow out his candles on his birthday!

 

Trip to Berlin

Unfortunately, on January 18, our car was broken into and my backpack was stolen--with all my stuff.  Except the apartment keys.  Just everything--passport, driver's license, insurance cards, bank card, social security card, etc...just everything.  I was not a happy camper.

Well, since my passport was stolen, I had to go personally to Berlin to apply for a new one.  We decided to use the trip and get paperwork done for the boys as well.  I am really happy that everything worked out.  Now both boys are on the same schedule for passports--we can make one trip for both boys from now on.

End of Jan

I'll try to start catching up!!  At the end of Jan we had a lot of snow!  The boys enjoyed the mountain of snow not far from our house.
